Evidence before certainty

Factual scientific fields must resolve to reusable source IDs. The build checks source references and requires citations for reviewed claims. A reference entry is not a substitute for checking that it supports the claim.

Published accounts identify whether checks were performed by an agent or a human. Unresearched sections remain explicit. Citations, authorities, synonyms, assay values and distribution claims must never be invented.

Not yet researched: Psilocybia has not reviewed the field. No published evidence located: a documented search has not located evidence. Not applicable: the field does not apply.

Uncertain and disputed describe different limitations. Unavailable indicates evidence that cannot currently be reproduced or licensed. These states must not be treated as interchangeable.

Codex researches and writes accounts, then checks each populated claim against its cited source and records the scope and limitations. Publication requires named, dated approval tied to the exact content and cited references. Agent source-checked publication is permitted; it is not human scientific review. Changes invalidate that approval.

Chemistry is presented as scientific literature, not expected effects. Species descriptions are not field-identification guidance.
