01The study is the unit of evidence
Published assay records retain specimen, material, provenance, preparation, storage, sample size, analytical method, original units and qualifiers. Measurements are not averaged into a species potency score.
The first species accounts contain source-checked assay extractions. Compound-level literature reviews remain pending; the species records distinguish extracted studies from a complete evidence assessment.
02Evidence categories
The architecture supports: no published assay located; historical qualitative evidence; limited quantitative evidence; moderate quantitative evidence; and well characterised. These categories require an explicit editorial method before assignment. “Not yet researched” is kept separate from all of them.
